The Steelmen face a crunch test against Bangor City at the GenQuip Stadium on Saturday 7th November, kick-off 5.15pm and you can watch Tatey play his first game in Port Talbot colours with coverage starting from 4.45pm.
With Andy Dyer’s side suffering a drop in form – having lost the last 5 games – Tate is almost certain to be thrown straight into the action in order to stop the rot and help the Steelmen recapture the form that saw them make a superb start to their Dafabet Welsh Premier League campaign.
Sgorio presenter Dylan Ebenezer had plenty to say about the ex-Swansea man:
Tate is 33 and has fantastic experience, and it’s surprising that a club like Newport County haven’t gone in for him. It must be a boost to the lads in the changing room at Port Talbot. I’m sure Tate will be a huge presence in re-organising their defence. He’s a character off the field too and he’s had one or two scrapes, but he’s a hero to Swansea fans. It should be great for the league.”
As the Swans are away in Norwich, you may plan on going to the game at the GenQuip rather than watch it on TV. If you do decide to venture out, then get in touch and let us know how Tatey played.
