We went to Watford purely for a family visit as this is where we used to live. It was great to go back and revisit some of our old favourite places and acted as a good base for us to travel out to other surrounding locations. I would however not recommend for a holiday destination as the main town centre has very few shops etc or much to see.
Great location for train line into London etc.

Watford is a great location from which you can access London. There are lots of different restaurants, shops and activities easily accessed in the centre of town. We found Watford was a great base to stay as it provided superb access to the Warner Bros Studios and the Harry Potter tour.

Quiet town with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, a huge mall and high street, pubs and bars including a great spot for board game lovers!
A big local Tesco for all your basic needs.
Access to central London is good but not the best around.

Near London but cheaper stay.
Near London but cheaper stay. Great location with the train station, lots of restaurants and shopping (Atria). I especially loved Simba Bru Coffee for coffee, Il Pellegrino for pasta, and Honest Burgers for burgers.

I visited Watford for work.
I visited Watford for work. The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk everywhere. Good mix of coffee, food and bar options within a couple of minutes walk, some chains and some independent. Easy parking.
The flat was lovely and very clean. We were only a 10 min walk from Watford junction. The little estate the flats are located on is very beautiful and we got free parking with the booking. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He was very easy to get hold of and couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely stay again as it was great value for money and only 20 mins to Euston on the fast train. Probably the best place I’ve stayed on a London trip. Also very near to the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants.
I stayed here with my daughter when we went to visit the Harry Potter Studios. The location could not have been better- straight across the road from Watford Junction Train Station (which is also where the bus to the studios departs from). The hotel was spotlessly clean & the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good quality hotel in a great location
When I stay in hotels my main issue is always that there isn’t any water, the 5L bottle in my room at this stay was greatly appreciated and a lovely surprise! The host is beyond lovely and makes you feel so welcome. The bed is sooo comfortable aswell! Definitely booking this place again as soon as I can!
Near the Warner Bros Studio Tour (only 15 mins drive), near to Tube station (10 mins walk to Watford), and self contained unit with private kitchenette and private bathroom.
Clean, staff were great, nice and quiet.
We weren't disturbed or bothered by anyone.
Parking free onsite is a FANTASTIC bonus.
My sister and I liked the proximity of the apartment to Atria Watford (which has lots of branded shops), Watford Market, Train Stations (both Watford Junction and Watford High street), High Street and other attractions. The apartment itself had the facilities as mentioned on booking.com.
This hotel is the perfect location for anyone traveling from Watford Junction train station. 20 minutes and you're in London Euston. £8 to park for 24 hours is an excellent feature too. Staff were all friendly, good breakfast and a comfortable room.
The hosts were very helpful. Great location 10 mins from Watford junction and 5 mins from shops and restaurants. Clean and warm. Lovely quiet location. Hosts made a real effort with the decor and finishing touches. Property has great potential.
Though dated, I found it to be clean.
Bar & Cleaning Staff are all helpful and friendly.
The pub offers convenience as there is a kitchen with descent prices.
Watford station is under a 10 minute walk.
The en-suite shower was super handy!
The staff was very nice and helpful.
I relly enjoyed breakfast and latte was incredibly delicious.
Near Watford junction, just what we needed 😊
We checked out at 9 a.m., left luggages in hotel and came back at about 8 p.m.
The staff were friendly. The food and drinks are very cheap. The location is great for people planning to visit the Warner Bros Studio Tour and it’s not far from Watford Junction or Watford Underground
Convenient located close to Watford Junction station, spacious for a studio flat in London and good value considering London prices. Kitchen reasonably well equipped, oven, stove, fridge freezer.
If you are going Harry Potter World then this is a good hotel to stay in, literally less than a 10-minute drive from the studio.
Breakfast had a good selection and was adequate.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was of a very large size, with full size bath which makes a change from other hotels whereby the bathrooms and bath are tiny.
Location perfect for Watford junction for London trip
Free parking
Good self catering equipment
Nice bathroom
Towels provided
Price compared to hotels local is very good
