If Pulis gets sacked from West Brom, we should sack Clement and bring him in right away.
I think we're all agreed that the sexy football days are long gone, and all we are now is a 'stay in the league at any cost' team right?
Now personally, that saddens me - I don't agree with it, I'll never agree with it, and it's not what Swansea City should ever be about.
But the reality is, if that's what we now are, then why don't we just go the whole hog and try and get a manager in who can do it properly. Not this bullshit we've seen under Monk, Guidolin and now Clement, where we try to pretend we still play a bit of football. At least Pulis would do it properly - he'd sign a load of 6 footers, coach them to defend properly, be a threat from set pieces. It may not be the identity we want, but at least his teams have an identity, you know what you'll get, 38 games a season.
Not this crap we've had to put up with for nearly 4 years now where we don't what side is going out on the pitch from one week to the next or what tactics will be employed.
As I say, controversial, but it's got to be better than what we've got right now surely.
