If CC is to remain, then it will be difficult to see how a fit Bony would fit into the style CC appears to prefer, that is a hard working, mobile pairing, who are prepared to contribute in defending from the front. That would leave the two Ayews, although neither are out and out strikers, and McBurnie.
Not sure if that is good enough going into another long season, so at least one other striker is needed and two if McBurnie is to be loaned out again.
None of the above takes into account the possible loss of Bony and the Ayews to the Africa Nations Cup.
