It is a team game Jackarme.
And the manager has a big part to play in that. And the players aren't robots.
But, we fans - and I include myself in this - only see what we want to see.
Picking on one player when the collective is often the issue, or the tactics, formation, and sometimes the opposition, is more often the problem.
Or people expecting a player to suddenly be something they are not. Never have been, and won't be. Like those that feel Ki should be some Robbie James or Evil Genius character - hard tackling midfielder.
But I try not to criticise a player for having a poor game, or missing a pass - especially one he is trying to play forward. The only time I get angry or upset is if I feel they are not putting the effort in, or don't work for the team.
My ire has often been aimed at players like Fer, who when he has lost the ball, sits on his arse on the halfway line and doesn't try and rectify the situation. One thing you can't say about Tom Carroll, for all his faults.
Or the manager for playing people out of position. How many people were calling Clucas childish names earlier in the season? Even though it was more Clement not playing him in the position he was so successful at for Hull, and why he was bought!
And at least Tom has admitted his standards have been up-and-down this season.
But without Tom, Ki and Leon at the end of last season, we would 100% have been relegated.
