The times irritate me as their articles tend to be behind a pay wall. If you get the chance to read the article by Rod Liddle in yesterday's Sunday Times it's worth a read.
It bemoaning the PL clubs who don't trust their youngsters. It is extrapolated from a single youngster Everton's Ademola Lookman but it makes the point,
He was loaned out by big Sam as not good enough for PL ( I've heard that a lot on this forum about our youngsters ) so he loaned him out to RB Leipzig and the kid , who was part of England's U20s who won the World Cup, has set the Bundesliga alight.
Now RB Leipzig want to sign him permanently, and the youngster is keen, but suddenly Everton's proposal seems to be, still not ready for PL we will try and arrange a loan with Derby County!
I believe this is relevant for us in terms of how we treat our youngsters next year and beyond.
