I totally agree, it will eat itself and I think that moment is not too far away.
You have to look at football in the context of the wider economic picture in this country. With austerity, we know wages are already contracting, high streets are dying as big name retailers are going to the wall nearly every week. For the little man, money is getting tighter and tighter.
So it beggars belief that the Premier League are ploughing ahead with a model of more games spread over more platforms requiring more subscriptions. More and more people will simply not be able to afford it anymore.
They're playing a dangerous game imo. ITV Digital was not all that long ago. People have short memories.
