Its an absolute fair point you make but the longer Brighton are there the higher their wages will go.
Take Ashley Williams, (figures are guesstimates), he was on 10k as a championship player, all the players we wanted to keep had their wages doubled in 2011/12, he went up to 20k, then each year, Ash and his agent would be knocking on the door for more, his performances warranted it at the time. I'm told that when he left it had risen to £65k. You can say no but players show little loyalty and would be off like a shot.
And as you point out, our figures might look better if we had a 30k stadium instead of a 20k.
