Cash windfall from FA Cup

  • Heard there's more money coming in for Llorente too as Spurs progressed in the CL
  • Makes no odds. We will never see a penny of it invested on the pitch.
  • Are they paying it in dollars??

If the money is there it'll be spent, if its not, it won't its called sustainability and its what Swansea do, have always done
  • Yes correct they have definitely spent it that’s not the problem it’s what they’ve spent it on and what returns they have made  on the selling of said assets
  • It's what was done until HJ decided to change our MO. After that it went downhill very quickly, ending up in the mess we find ourselves in today

Is that why we have a £30 milion deficit?

In a word, yes, over trading of players the past few years has been our downfall, we can all be critical after the event and perhaps AA and WB should not have been resigned but from what I can see, Jenkins went with his gut feeling which didn't come off (if came off many times over his tenure). Sometimes you have to stop looking to pile the blame on someone and start to look to rebuild for the good of the club, calling Jenkins and the owners a bunch of c**** every time there's post is not helping. Had we been able to move on ABBA last summer which should have realised £30m, then there be less of a mess to clear up.

    You said "have always done".

    Clearly not true.
