Wales v Belarus fixture date change
The Football Association of Wales is pleased to confirm that the Men’s International Challenge match against Belarus has been moved to Monday, 9 September and will take place at Cardiff City Stadium.
With Rob Page’s U21 side due to face Germany at home in a crucial UEFA U21 Championship Qualifier on Tuesday, 10 September, the new date for the Belarus game allows fans to watch both national sides compete in the same week.
Wales will face Belarus three days after our home fixture against Azerbaijan, signalling the halfway point in our Euro 2020 qualification campaign. This will be the fifth time the two sides meet in their history, with John Hartson scoring the winning goal in the last meeting at the Millennium Stadium in 2002.
Ticketing information will be announced in due course.
