Crawley Town Saturday

So first friendly against Crawley Town coming up.

So they are a League 2 outfit that play at Broadfield Stadium. The North stand will probably be designated for Away fans.

Crawley had a difficult season, eventually finishing about 12 points but only 4 places above relegation. They seem to try and play a passing attacking style often using a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Last season they struggled to score only averaging 1.1 goals per game, but struggling, certainly against more Physical teams to keep goals out, conceding about 1.5 goals per game.

Their squad seems a little imbalanced with about 10  forwards, 10 midfielders and 5 defenders that I can identify. They have signed about 7 players so far during preseason, with a new young keeper on loan from Birmingham, a defender, 3 midfielders and 2 forwards.

Not sure that is going to redress the player balance within the squad.

Finally for those of you with a memory Harry Kewell the Australian footballer ex of Liverpool and Leedsis their manager.

Should be an interesting match, to see how we play for thefull 90 minutes
