Fulham were playing some nice football in the earlier part of the season but without necessarily getting the results. In more recent games they have added some tenacity to their approach and unsurprisingly their results have improved.
In contrast, we started the season with great results and have shown we can grind out wins, especially away from home - an admirable quality in this division (or any for that matter) and one we lacked last season. The style of football has however been disappointing. Having said that, we tend to play well against good footballing sides. If there isn't some improvement in that respect tonight, it would be a concern.
Hopefully the manager will take a positive approach to tonight's game, with a team selection that's capable of penetrating the Fulham defence. With no pacy wingers available, the inclusion of Surridge from the start is surely a must.
