Not one for making predictions as I always feel there are too many variables to consider but hey ho,
Who will leave in this transfer window?
No doubt in my mind at one time that we needed to get Ayew off the wage bill but after some discussions with respected friends I have come across with their thoughts that if finances permitted, Birch would see a player that scored 15 league goals last season more of a bonus than taking whatever transfer fee is on offer, and keep Ayew to lead the forward line, work with whoever is brought in and hopefully have a good go at promotion. But if he goes, two strikers will be needed.
Hoorn, Dyer end of contract while contracted players - Asoro, McKay, John, Peterson and Celina to be offloaded, bring some cash in, and I would like to see both Naughton and Routledge offered new deals.
How well will we do for new recruits?
Priorities for me are a keeper, centre back, a midfielder to play alongside Grimes and another midfielder further up the field, a striker to play alongside Ayew and a player that is flexible to cover both defence and midfield. The possibilities are that one or two young professionals will be sought with a thought for the future.
Where will we end the season?
Top six, but that's as long as we stick with the 3-4-1-2 formation that for me turned the season round.
What are the owners’ intentions?
Keep the mandate to Birch to balance the books, sell players if necessary, that will ensure they don't have to top up what money enters the club's bank account and balance whatever bills need paying.
When will we next see K&L at a match?
When we are back in the PL
