Cooper Confused a little, truth be told

edited February 19 in Swansea City

Love Steve Cooper so this is literally for amusement.

Watching the post match interview and had to be amused when Cooper did his usual complaints at 10 games in 30 days: but literally a few mins later blamed our first half performance which lacked intensity and energy on the fact we didn't play at the weekend. You couldn't make it up...

One reported I think picked it up and I'm sure Cooper got a bit red faced lol

Truth be told Steve you were making excuses, we just didn't do the non negotiables in the first half ๐Ÿ‘

  • I have not seen the interview , my thinking is players get into a rhythm of Saturday Tuesday Saturday , they train play rest light training then play .

We played Norwich on the Friday evening , play Man City on the Wednesday with a much changed side , recover then train fof Sheffield Weds away Friday they have the call game postponed .

Instead of playing Saturday , its training then prepare for Weds playing Forest , some of the first 11 have not played for 12 days , they had lost a bit of sharpness.

That is my opinion of what he meant .

he was talking about the coming month....Telfordswan....and till the end of the season. so he didn't mess up, you did! ๐Ÿ˜‰.....though he did make an error saying Huddersfield were good against Middlesborough when it was Bournemouth. Give the man a break.....he's working his socks off...but i get the gist...all in fun

  • Truth be told Pablo, the video doesn't lie. Cooper was red faced at the end when he realised what he said so definitely no mistake my side lol.

  • You can see what is thinking was , didn't come out has he wanted .

  • Hard to be as devious as a politician in an interview, when football coaching is your chosen career.I know where my sympathies lie,

In my very first sentence I did say this was for amusement only lol. I wasn't intending on putting the guy through a kangaroo court for a post match football interview..
