Totally agree, Rhydian. We go to Coventry, win 2-1, get excellent acclaim from the Coventry fans and then go to Bournemouth, get over 60% possession and lose 4-0. Something isn't quite right and the problem is that if you keep playing the same team and use the same tactics the opposition soon works it out, the players in the team are tired and the ones not being picked get frustrated.
People say don't change a winning team but when you are playing twice a week you have to rotate and bear in mind that a system that works well at home may not be so effective away. It may only need a fine tweak or two but at present too many teams are getting on top of us away from home and when they do they seem to score a few and win quite easily.
We are very much a work in progress and may well end up losing a few players that the fans actually rate, simply because they are not getting game time.
I don't think Martin will go to Norwich either, mainly because he hasn't done enough to justify a Premier League job at present.
If Piroe and Paterson hadn't settled in so well and scored so many we may well have been fighting it out with CCFC to keep out of the relegation places. They have both been superb signings, as have Downes and Laird. For me, Ntcham just needs to improve his consistency a bit and the jury is out on Williams, Obafemi and Walsh because we haven't seen enough of them to form an opinion. Williams in particular must be wondering just what he is doing here.
January will be interesting!
