  • Match Discussion: Leeds United v Swans - Championship 2018/19

I'm afraid that after 32 games Mr Potter still does not know what his best team is
Yes he's doing OK with limited resources
But he could be doing so much better if only he learnt from his own mistakes
    Example
Yes Leeds are a hard experienced team compared to us
So he plays the biggest coward in the squad ( Mackay ) instead of say Nathan Dyer who would have fronted up no problem
Moves Grimes to LB when Naughton is fit
I'm not saying don't play with a false  nine as that worked well for most of the Stoke game and it's worth trying when Ollie is not fully match fit
GP needs to start talking to Curt - who usually gets team selection right

  • Match Discussion: Swans v Gillingham - FA Cup 4th Round 2018/19

Got about one chance in six of a home tie against a Championship team or lower
    Doncaster or Wimbledon at home?

  • Match Discussion: Hull City v Swans - Championship 2018/19

Yes we tried the younger combination of James - McBurnie - Mackay
Now we're trying the oldies Dyer- Bony - Routledge
    It'll be interesting to compare

  • Worth a read

Only references to Potter out that I've seen have been joking ones
Nobody expected better than mid table early doors and that has not changed
He will get criticism when he deserves some though as well as praise when he gets it right

  • If you were Fulham, what would you do?

I think GP is making a mistake with the keeper
I think he is making another mistake with Fer
I think Dyer deserves to be in matchday squads
But I also think he's a very good man manager who genuinely cares about players and knows how to motivate
He is not in the least arrogant and makes quite brave choices on most things
No. I like the guy and he would have been a vast improvement on most managers we have had since I've been following the club ( 1956 )
Nevertheless no one is immune from some criticism and the keeper cost us against Ipswich and last weekend
