As dangerous as Man United have looked the last two games, tonight's game has helped us I think.

We play them sandwiched between the local derby against Citeh (Thursday), and the Europa Semi (following Sunday).

They have now lost another centreback, Rojo; and Zlatan looks buggared too - knee.

I really don't see Jose wanting to lose:

1. The Derby
2. To Pep

And the Europa is their best chance of playing Champions League next season, which he will be desperate for, especially as that will help him pick up players in the summer, if it is a race between the big payers for certain men.

So he will probably put a "weakened" side out on the Sunday against us - not that it will be THAT weak. But any help is gratefully received.

Mourinho regularly uses a small(ish) core of players and has never been an advocate of rotation.

Although it has been the Zlatan show up there this season, not many teams are capable of going 23 games unbeaten without real team Spirit.

He'll probably have to call back Rooney, Blind & Mata in to the starting eleven, is that really a weakened side ?

As much as i'd likle to take heart from this it's almost irrelevant who the opposition put out on the pitch when we've failed so miserably to get our own house in order for most of this season.

I've heard this "weakened oppo" discussion many times only for us to be n the receiving end of a defeat.

We need to look at ourselves first and foremost.

JoH, agree its in our hands , the players along with the manager and his staff now need to show courage and what they are made of, for me FER , if he plays, needs a huge game tomorrow as he is one that owes us and himself big time, but he is not alone,
We are not dead and buried and can still get out of it but hey we are Swansea when do we ever do anything easy?

It goes without saying our players need to perform or we are buggared.

If Fer starts, then I will have to change my opinion of Clement, and not in a good way.

but United have key injuries at centreback - Rojo, Smalling and Jones all out for the season.

Zlatan also, by the looks. Mata too.

Rooney hasnt played for a couple of months, and as much as you say Jose likes a small group of players, he's not so dumb to use those players in all 3 games - especially when some of them wont have played much because of that policy.

Shaw, Blind, Rooney, Martial - just a few who have not played that much, and will they have it in the tank. he cant afford more injuries if he wants to win the Europa.

Our three best games under Clem was the cluster of Liverpool, Citeh and Chelsea, we done good in all three even it we only won one, United will take care of itself, Stoke is the game where we have to go the extra mile, put bodies on the line and prepare to die for your team mates, we have been good at talking the talk, bows the time to walk the walk

I pray it is not hot air, but something needs to change again, to kick start us again.

Selections of the last few weeks have not worked, and something needs to happen to get the crowd going.

If we see the same old side, then I think the crowd will be more agitated rather than backing.

Agree on Fer Mark. Been hopelessly out of form for weeks.

Two things I really want to see tomorrow; Fer dropped to bench, and replaced in midfield by Gylfi. Same system. Straight swap. Sigurdsson and Carroll playing right & left respectively.

Britton to anchor midfield, or alternatively Ki, whom despite his failings this season I believe would be in his most effective position as our 'quarterback'.

Bringing Gylfi into midfield will also dictate that we play either Montero or Ayew wide left from the start to give us genuine pace on the counter. Personally, I'd start Ayew if can drift inside and offer a goal threat whilst linking with the Centre Forward, presumably Llorente. Jeff can burn the opposition full back in the last 20 mins if necessary.
