Former PE teacher Tim Robinson, started officiating at Football League level during the 2011/12 season, having progressed through the Sussex leagues, before moving on to the different national leagues.
In December 2019 he officiated his first Primer League Game, a 1-0 for Burnley over Newcastle United. However, Robinson is mainly an EFL Championship referee.

To date, Robinson has not officiated a League game at the Liberty Stadium, only an Under-23 game when the Swans beat Wolves 2-1 in the Football League Trophy in January 2017. This will be his second Swans away game.
