I would just like to wish every single Swans fan a very Merry Christmas. I really hope that each and every one of you manages to spend some quality time with family and friends.
2011 has been an incredible year for the Swans. Although many might worry that we don’t have the personnel to stay in the Premier League, I come from the ‘glass half full’ brigade and firmly believe that we do have what it takes! It won’t be easy. We will give ourselves a scare now and again with the odd dodgy performance but we will survive.
Our club is unique. We play a unique style of football to others, we are fan owned (20% by everyday fans), we have a board that manages the club in the right way and we have a young, bright, talented manager who loves our club and understands our way of thinking.
We will achieve more together as a unified group. The hardest league in the world was never going to be easy but with the right support and momentum, our club will contine to win plaudits and more importantly will continue to win points.
So, lets enjoy Christmas Day and the festive season knowing that there are 72 other clubs who would give their right arms and legs to be in our position in the Premier League.
Supporting Swansea City has been a rollercoaster for the last 20 years. The next few months won’t be any different but I wouldn’t change it for the world. We are in the best league in the world and long may it continue!
Happy Christmas and enjoy yourselves!
