Swans draw Forest at home

Last Updated on January 11, 2021.    Published on January 11, 2021 by Swans Info.

Swansea City have been drawn against fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round.

The draw, made on live television by former England striker Peter Crouch, will see the Swans welcome Forest to the Liberty Stadium on the weekend on Saturday, 23 January.

Cooper’s men, who have already defeated Forest at the City ground earlier this season, will surely fancy their chances of progressing to the Fifth Round.

Should the Swans progress, then they will face yet another home tie in the Fifth Round, against the winners of the Cheltenham Town v Manchester City game.

The prospect of facing Manchester City once again, will prove a mouth-watering one for players and fans alike, especially given the controversy when the sides last met in an FA Cup Quarter-Final in March 2019.

All FA Cup 5th Round ties are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 10 February 2021.
