The narrow defeat was enough to see the Swans remain second-bottom of the table in front of the 4,452 Vetch Field faithful.
26 years ago on 10 February 1990 – Goals from Tommy Hutchinson and a Paul Chalmers hat-trick gave the Swans a 4-2 win over Fulham at the Vetch Field in Barclays League Division Three. The 3,433 crowd were treated to not only seeing a Swans player score the first league hat-trick in almost 8 years but the Swans first league win of the year.
37 years ago on 10 February 1979 – The fourth placed Swans lost 1 nil at the Vetch against Brentford in the Football League Third Division in front of a 7,250 crowd. John Toshack’s team gave the fans little to shout about other than a disallowed Alan Waddle goal.
