All the focus in the last few days has been on Brendan and the players ahead of Monday’s game. They have the chance to take our club into the Premier League and change our world as fans.
However, I would just like to place on record my (and I am sure I speak on behalf of thousands of fans) thanks to the team behind the team at the football club.
I know from speaking to many of them that they have just gone through one of the busiest weeks of their lives! All of the club media team, commercial team, management team, backroom staff, ticket office staff, superstore staff, stadium staff have worked incredibly hard to ensure that the team are prepared and that us fans have got all we need to enjoy Monday.
We are very lucky to have a dedicated and committed group of people who give up so much of their own time to ensure others enjoy their day.
Some will say its their job but I know that all of this wider team have gone beyond the call of duty over the last few weeks.
The day will be about the players and rightly so. However, I also think that we should think about the people behind the scenes who have made so much of it possible.
