With two more Swansea City fixtures being selected for live coverage on Sky Sports, in addition to their opening game of the season at Sheffield United, we thought it would be a good idea to share some key announcement dates for future TV coverage.
The following Swans games will now feature live on Sky Sports during the opening month of the SkyBet Championship season:
Saturday 4 August – Sheffield United v Swans at 5:30pm
Friday 17 August – Birmingham City v Swans at 7.45pm
Tuesday 21 August – Swans v Leeds United at 7.45pm

It is noting that the EFL and broadcast partner Sky Sports have committed to giving Clubs at least five weeks’ notice ahead of any EFL League matches being selected for live television coverage, which should at least help fans a little in terms of planning ahead for fixtures.
This is a major improvement on the original agreement of 3 weeks notice, which was agreed in March 2018.
Given the new agreement, here are the key dates that fans will need to be aware of for when Sky Sports announce the games that they intend to cover live.

- Selections for 1st September to 29th September by 27th July.
- Selections for 3rd October to 10th November by 24th August.
- Selections for 17th November to 8th December by 12th October.
- Selections for 15th December to 12th January by 9th November.
- Selections for 19th January to 2nd February by 14th December.
- Selections for 9th February to 2nd March by 4th January.
- Selections for 9th March to 30th March by 1st February.
- Selections for 6th April and 10th April by 1st March.
- Selections for 13th April by 8th March.
- Selections for 19th April to 22nd April by 15th March.
- Selections for 27th April by 5th April.
Throughout the course of the season, Sky Sports will exclusively show 127 live matches from the Sky Bet English Football League, as well as 15 matches from the Carabao Cup and at least three from the Checkatrade Trophy.
