It was another busy Saturday afternoon for the Swansea City loan players in the EFL.
Oli Cooper once again started in midfield for Newport County in their thrilling 3-1 derby win at Bristol Rovers, to get new County boss James Rowberry off to the perfect start.
It was Cooper’s 8 league start in 9 appearances for Newport thus far in League Two.
League One Loan Watch
Meanwhile in League One, both Kyle Joseph and Jordan Garrick got in on the action.
Striker Joseph played the entire 90 minutes in Cheltenham’s 3-2 defeat at Doncaster Rovers, making it 7 starts in 9 appearances for the Robins.
Jordan Garrick, who seems to be playing most of his football as a striker at Plymouth, came on for the last 17 minutes, in the Pilgrims 1-1 draw at Morecambe, a result which sees them stay top of the table but only on goal difference.
This was Garrick’s 7th appearance from the substitutes bench for the Pilgrims, having made 12 appearances in total so far for the League One club.
No Cup Final for Cameron Evans
Cameron Evans, currently on loan at SSE Airtricity League Premier Division Waterford, suffered FAI Cup heartbreak on Friday night, as his side lost 1 nil at Bohemians in the semi-final.
Evans came on as a late replacement for the injured Prince Mutswunguma.
Also at the Irish club with Evans, is former Swansea City goalkeeper Brian Murphy.
