Young Swans named in Wales U16 and U17 squads

Nine Swansea City academy players have been named in the Wales Under 16 and Wales U17 squad for the upcoming training camps at the Vale Resort.

Both squads will be taking part in the camps as preparation for their upcoming tournaments get underway.

Craig Knight will lead the Cymru U17s camp this week, which features three Swans academy players, as the squad prepare for the UEFA Euro U17 Qualifying Round that will happen in October.

Cymru are in Group 7 and will face Albania, Sweden and hosts Croatia between the 20-26 of October.

The U16s training camp will be led by Adrian Harvie and features six Swansea City academy players.

The players selected for the training camp are those who are eligible for the Victory Shield that will take place later this year.
