Joel Piroe scored his third goal in a week to give the Swans a first home league win of the season against Queens Park Rangers.
Swans boss Russell Martin praised the support from the near 16k crowd, whilst hailing the spirit shown by his team, with four of the XI that finished the game being aged 20 or under.
The only negative for Martin will be the loss of Liam Cullen, who suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder just a few minutes after coming on as a substitute for Matty Sorinola.
The Swans can now look forward to the trip to Birmingham City next weekend with renewed optimism having taken four points from a possible six.
