Swansea City fell to a last-ditch defeat against Championship league leaders Sheffield United at the Swansea.com stadium this evening.
Substitute Reda Khadra scored an 94 minute winner for the Blades with virtually the last kick of the game, to deny the Swans what would have been a well earned point.
In his press conference, Martin bemoaned his side being wasteful in front of goal:
“We should score tonight, we should have scored more at Stoke, we should score more against QPR.”
“We don’t and we have paid a heavy price for that, we are 45 seconds away from everyone walking away feeling very positive about the performance against a team who are top of the league and have been free scoring.”
Next up for the Swans are Hull City, who visit the Swansea.com stadium for the early kick-off on Saturday.
