Substitute Reda Khadra condemned Swansea City to yet another defeat last night as Championship leaders Sheffield United secured all three points.
The Swans had played well enough to earn something from the game according to Russell Martin, but were punished once again in injury time, as former Swans Rhian Brewster squared the ball to Khadra to score the Blades 94th minute winner.
It was Sheffield United’s first win at Swansea since 1958.
Martin rightfully bemoaned his sides inability to take the chances they’d created in the game and once again his side were punished for not being more clinical.
Next up for the Swans is the visit of Hull City to the Swansea.com stadium on the weekend for a 12:30 kick-off in front of the Sky cameras.
