The Swans fell to defeat at Luton on Saturday after Carlton Morris’ first-half goal was enough for the Hatters to take all three points.
Although Swansea City showed more promise in the second half, it made little difference on a miserable afternoon for the visitors, who saw Joe Allen go off injured and Russell Martin shown a red card after a touchline melee.
The 1,031 Swansea fans that made the trip to Kenilworth Road were left to wonder what might have been had Liam Cullen’s second half effort not been ruled out for offside.
Next up for the Swans is the visit of third placed Middlesbrough to the Swansea.com stadium on Saturday, when the Swans will look to end their wretched run form with only 3 wins in 18 Championship games since the World Cup break in November.
