Swansea City Under-18s dominated the match against Colchester, securing a resounding 5-1 victory in the Professional Development League. The Swans took control early, netting three goals in the first half and adding two more in the second.

Leading the charge was Tom Woodward, who showcased his scoring prowess with a well-earned brace. Both of his goals came from pinpoint crosses delivered by Cameron Llewellyn, who also contributed an assist to Yori Griffith for the fifth goal of the match.

Sammy Henia-Kamau got Swansea off to a flying start, opening the scoring with a clinical finish from close range. Jack Fanning extended their lead with a powerful header off a corner, further solidifying Swansea’s dominance on the field.

Though Colchester United managed to find the back of the net with a goal from a trialist’s long-range strike, it served only as a consolation for the U’s.
