On a chilly and windy afternoon, Swansea City earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
The game was delayed due to a medical emergency in the crowd, but thankfully the Luton fan was later reported to be in stable condition.
Swansea fell behind when Elijah Adebayo pounced on a short back pass, rounded the keeper, and slotted the ball home. Despite the setback, the Swans responded strongly, forcing Luton keeper Kaminski into nine saves over the course of the match.
Their persistence paid off when Matt Grimes fired in a superb strike from a low Josh Tymon corner to bring the game level.
Swansea came close to a late winner, but Jisung Eom’s flicked header from a Florian Bianchini cross went just wide. In the end, both sides settled for a point.
The Swans next match is a trip to Home Park to take on Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday evening.
