Ivor Allchurch – Golden Days: First Public Screening

For many Swansea City supporters, the name Ivor Allchurch still brings a sense of pride and admiration. Known as the “Golden Boy of Welsh football”, Ivor is widely regarded as the greatest player ever to wear the Swans shirt, and one of the finest to have represented Wales.

Now, his remarkable story is being told in a brand-new documentary, Ivor Allchurch – Golden Days, commissioned by the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust. The film captures Ivor’s life and career through the eyes of those who knew him best – his wife Esme, and his sons John and David – offering fans the first truly personal account of the man behind the legend.

We’re delighted to confirm that the first public screening of this much-anticipated documentary will take place at 7.30pm on Friday 17th October 2025 at the Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea.
