Wigan’s home form has been impressive so far this season, but I do feel that the bookmakers are slightly underestimating a Swansea side for this game.
Swansea have been hampered in recent weeks to a series of injuries to their midfield with Bersant Celina, Leroy Fer, Tom Carroll and Jay Fulton all missing games recently, but Graham Potter had each of these players available for last weekend’s 3-0 victory.
Despite these injuries, the Swans were able to pick up a point away to Middlesbrough recently and earlier successes in the season at Sheffield United, and at Millwall when Swansea had to play with ten men for 86 minutes.
Those results show that the Swans will provide a stern test for anyone in this division on their travels this season.
