Where would you draw the Swans out of the Carabao Cup hat?

As the Swans prepare to face former boss Graham Potter and his Brighton team in the Carabao EFL Cup Third Round later this month, the EFL and Carabao are giving one supporter the chance to ‘win’ the Carabao Cup Round Four draw.

One lucky fan will be given the opportunity to host the draw in a location of their choice which could be their back garden, local community centre, sports club or even local pub.

Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards and former manager Harry Redknapp will be making the draw live on Sky Sports following the Round Three fixtures on Wednesday 22 September and hopefully Russell Martin’s team will be in the hat!

Former Premier League winner and Sky Sports pundit, Micah Richards, and former Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth manager, Harry Redknapp, will be leaving behind the comforts of the Sky Sports Studio and could be making the draw live from a village community centre, grassroots football club, local pub or even your back garden.

It will all be down to you to decide where the Round Four draw takes place – so if you fancy ‘having a cuppa with the King of the Jungle’ or ‘munching biccies with Micah’, this is your chance!

Just imagine the Swans being drawn out of the hat live from the Railway or Boss Brewing Co!

The Round Four draw will include the last 16 Clubs left in the competition with eight ties selected as the competition edges closer towards its Wembley finale.

Of course the Swans will need to vastly improve from their last visit to the AMEX Stadium, back in February 2018, when they were hammered 4-1 in a dismal away performance, if they are to have any chance of progressing to the Fourth Round.

A much more pleasant memory would be the 1 nil victory at the Withdean Stadium in May 2008, when the Swans were crowned League One Champions with captain Garry Monk lifting the trophy.

The Round Four draw will be held on Wednesday 22 September live on Sky Sports Football, but the real question is ‘where will it take place?’

To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is visit www.carabaocup.com/winthedraw and explain in 50 words or fewer why you deserve the chance to host the Carabao Cup draw.

Entries close on Wednesday, 8 September where a shortlist will be decided before a final decision is made by a panel of judges including representatives from the EFL, Carabao Energy Drink and Micah and Harry themselves.

The Carabao Cup Fourth Round games are due to be played the week commencing 25 October 2021.

Hopefully the Swans, winners of the Capital One League Cup in 2013, will be in the draw and another step closer to Wembley.
