Striker Joseph bags a brace for Robins

Swans striker Kyle Joseph who is on loan at League One Cheltenham Town scored twice in 3 second half minutes last night, in the Robins 3-1 win over Morecambe at Whaddon Road.

The 20 year old, who the Swans bought from Wigan Athletic in the Summer, stole the show with his two goals, the first a smart volley and the second a sensational strike on the edge of the box which clipped the far post and nestled into the goal.

Joseph has now scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist for Cheltenham in 6 appearances.

Top of the table Pilgrims

Jordan Garrick featured for Plymouth in their 3 nil win over Bolton Wanderers in League One, a result which saw the Pilgrims go top of the table.

The winger once again played up front for Argyle before being replaced on 80 minutes.

Cooper Assists Newport Again

After having two assists on Saturday, Oli Cooper once again supplied an assist for Newport County in their ill tempered 2-2 against Carlisle United at Rodney Parade.

Cooper was making his 7th League Two start for County, where he has scored once whilst providing 3 assists to date.

Hopefully new boss James Rowberry will continue to give the 21 year old regular game time.
