If you’re a Swansea City fan who plays EA Sports FIFA football game, then read on as this opportunity to be part of the FIFA 22 Ratings Collective might be right up your street.

The EA Sports FIFA Ratings Collective team are looking to expand their community of dedicated and knowledgeable football fans by providing feedback on the data used for FIFA 22, meaning you could be part of the world’s greatest football video game franchise!

Your suggestions will be taken in to account to help determine and improve Swansea City player attributes, appearance and other player data as well as team data in the game.

If you’re haven’t played the game yet, have a read of our Swansea City focussed FIFA 22 review which we did when the game was released last October.

With the January Transfer Window closing next week, there’s sure to be even more changes to the Swansea City squad which will need analysing, not to mention some amendments to the current player ratings.

The Database Team at EA SPORTS FIFA aim to ensure every player, team and league are represented as accurately and authentically as possible in the game.

What does the role of volunteer Data Reviewer involve?

To give you an idea of the sort of what’s involved, here are some examples of what a Data Reviewer could leave feedback on:

  • If a player had more complete passes in their last three games so passing attributes should be upgraded
  • A defender made more sliding tackles in a game winning the ball on many occasions so their sliding tackling attributes should be reviewed as they are low.
  • Have a team been playing in a different formation in their last few games
  • Has a player changed position, all of these different things need to be updated in FIFA22

Obviously you’ll have to watch almost every Swansea City game to know some of those details, so you really need to be an expert on the Swans.

The Data Reviewer role is purely voluntary, so there is no obligation on your part, but it is an opportunity for you to channel your inner passion for the Swans and football in general, whilst having an influence on the EA SPORTS FIFA database.

How to apply

Fans of EFL Championship, League One and Two clubs are being encouraged to apply online for voluntary Data Reviewer positions for the teams they support.

You can also find our more details about this and other positions on the EA Sports FIFA Collective website or by joining the conversation online on twitter @FIFATALENTSCOUT.
