Joel Piroe and Russell Martin spoke to the press ahead of the visit of Queens Park Rangers to the Swansea dot com stadium on Saturday.
With the summer transfer window having now closed, Piroe took the opportunity to say – “I am happy to still be here”.
“As I have said before, you do not know what the future can hold, but I am enjoying my time playing for Swansea.”
There was further good news from the camp as Russell Martin confirmed that new signing Fin Stevens is in contention to make his Swans debut against Queens Park Rangers, while Ben Cabango returns from suspension.
Given the usual hectic Championship fixture schedule, Martin hinted that he may decide to make changes given the short turnaround from Wednesday night’s draw at Stoke.
