Stroud to take charge of Swans trip to Southampton

Hampshire born official Keith Stroud has been appointed the referee for the Swans trip to Southampton on Boxing Day.

It will be the first time that Stroud has officiated a Swansea City game this season, he has however been the fourth official for the home games against QPR and Huddersfield Town.

The last Swansea game which Keith Stroud was the man in the middle for was the 3-2 home win over West Bromwich Albion on the last day of the 2022-2023 season.

Referee Stroud will be assisted by Lee Venamore and Greg Read, with Alan Young the 4th Official for the game at St Mary’s stadium.

If you take a closer look at Keith Stroud’s statistics when officiating Swansea City games, you’ll understand why he isn’t one of the most popular officials with Swansea City fans.
