The initiative, giving fans the opportunity to swap their shirt with a recently sold player on the back for a new one, launched last summer, and saw Carling give away thousands of shirts to passionate fans during the summer transfer window.
Following the recent departure Jonjo Shelvey midfielder, Swans’ fans now have the opportunity to swap their shirt in exchange for a brand new one ahead of their second home league game of 2016 against Watford.
Fans will also be treated to an exciting appearance on the night from footy legend, Jimmy Bullard. Having partnered with Carling as part of the campaign, the former Wigan Athletic, Fulham and Hull City star will be on hand to mingle with fans ahead of the big match while even dishing out a few new shirts form the Carling Shirt Amnesty van himself.
Jimmy Bullard commented, “The transfer window is open and the Carling Shirt Amnesty van is back in business! Monday night will see Carling give Swans’ fans the chance to swap a shirt of a player who has recently left the club, such as Jonjo Shelvey, for one of the new heroes.
I know how passionate Swans’ fans can be so what better way to show support for the boys than with a lovely new shirt.”
Buzzing to be heading to Swansea on Monday for #CarlingShirtAmnesty – Swans’ fans, get yourself down The Liberty at 5pm to meet the bulldog

Some Swans fans will no doubt remember Bullard from his playing days and spells at both Fulham and Hull City not to mention his appearance in ITV’s reality TV show – “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”.
The van will be landing at the Liberty Stadium around 5:30pm and all fans have to do is bring down their old shirt with the name of any player who has departed in the last 3 years on the back and Carling will replace it for a new one, free of charge. With an important few months ahead, it’s the perfect time for Swans’ fans to get themselves kitted out for the remainder of the season.
Fans are advised to keep an eye out on the @Carling Twitter page to find out when the #CarlingShirtAmnesty van will land and to get down to the Liberty Stadium as early as possible (over 18s only).
Although there are hundreds of shirts to give away, they will be handed out on a first come first served basis, so once they’re gone they’re gone.
