Any diehard football fan loves a pie and a pint, so now is your chance to win yourself not one but two boxes of Wilfreds Premium Welsh pies, worth £25 with our “#WelcomeHomeWilf” Twitter competition.
These award winning pies use the finest meats, all of which are sourced locally in Wales and are guaranteed to put a smile on the face (and belly!) of any self-confessed pie lover!
With the arrival back at the Liberty Stadium of star striker Wilfried Bony during the recent transfer window, we thought we’d welcome Wilf home with a competition dedicated to the man himself – after all, the pies are called Wilfreds 🙂
Your task is quite simple, all you have to do is calculate the total number of pies that it would take to equal Wilfried Bony’s height AND body weight!
To give you a helping hand, the Official figures on the Premier League website state that Wilf is 182cm tall and weighs 88kg.
This competition closed at midnight on Sunday 24th September 2017 but to enter all you had to do was follow Lewis Pies on Twitter and tweet how many of Wilfreds pies you think it would take to make a real-life Wilfried Bony!
The winner was the person who correctly guessed the actual number of pies needed or the very nearest number.
