Last week in celebration of St David’s Day, the FAW launched a brand new feature series on it’s Official YouTube Channel called ‘Getting to Know’, which is hosted by former Swans midfielder and Welsh International Owain Tudur Jones.
The new series features former footballer turned sports presenter OTJ meeting various Welsh footballing heroes, from the past to the present day, giving fans a unique insight into the personalities of the players that is rarely ever seen by fans.
In episode one, Welsh football fans in general will enjoy listening to Wales’ Senior Men’s most capped player and Reading defender Chris Gunter discuss his relationship with the Red Wall and his favourite team talk from Chris Coleman.
Of particular interest to Swansea City fans will be episode two, which features former Swans defender and current Wales International Ben Davies, whom details his pride for being and speaking Welsh, the boost he had from playing next to Ashley Williams at both Swansea and Wales, plus many more behind the scenes anecdotes from his playing career to date.
