Swansea fans at Hull City

Nearly 400 of the Jack Army made the long trip to the MKM Stadium in Hull yesterday, as the Swans fell to a bitterly disappointing 2-0 defeat against the Tigers.

First-half goals from Tom Eaves and Keane Lewis-Potter were enough to secure all three points for Hull during a first half where the Swans were way off the pace.

Although they did improve during the second half, the closest the Swans came to a goal were Michael Obafemi and Liam Walsh efforts, which both hit the post, and Joel Piroe’s injury time goal – which was ruled out correctly for offside.

Loyal Away Support

Huge credit must go to the travelling Jacks who made the journey to Humberside, having already seen their team in London on Tuesday night for the draw with QPR.

Over the past two weeks, anyone travelling from Swansea to watch the Swans in action at Huddersfield, QPR and Hull would have clocked up at least 1,448 miles!

That is some serious commitment, both in terms of time and money, but illustrates perfectly why the Jack Army is so loyal to the club.

The next trip for the Travelling Jacks is an away trip to Stoke City on Tuesday, 8th February. The good news is that it is only a 340 odd mile round trip…..
