Key dates for the 2022-23 EFL Championship season

The EFL have confirmed the key dates for EFL clubs for the 2022/23 season, which will be quite unique due to the mid-season break for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Swans will kick-off their their EFL Championship campaign on the weekend of 30 July 2022.

With the 2022 World Cup in Qatar taking place over a five-week period in November and December 2022, the EFL Schedule has been adjusted to accommodate the tournament.

The Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final will once again be staged at Wembley Stadium, which will and conclude the season on Monday 29 May 2023.

Perhaps the most important date the diary at the moment however, is 9am on Thursday, 23 June, when the Swans Championship fixtures for 2022/23 will be released.
