As part of the EFL’s fixture release day on Thursday 23 June, the Round One draw for the Carabao Cup Group Stage will also take place on the same day.
In an eagerly awaited day for supporters up and down the country, the draw will follow the release of fixture lists across the Sky Bet Championship from 9am, with the 2022/23 Sky Bet EFL Season beginning the weekend commencing Friday 29 July.
With the World Cup in Qatar taking place in November, there will be a mid-season break from 12 November until the 10 December.
Carabao Cup Draw 2022-2023
The Carabao Cup Round One draw will then take place live on Sky Sports News at 2:30pm on the same day – 23 June.
A total of 35 ties will be drawn for Round One, which will include Stockport County and Grimsby Town who are returning to the EFL after achieving promotion from the National League.
The Carabao Cup Round One fixtures will take place week commencing 8 August.
Last season the Swans reached the Third Round, before losing 2-0 at Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion, having overcome Reading and Plymouth Argyle in the previous rounds.
