Russel Martin reflects on his side’s 1-1 draw at Rotherham United in the Swans opening game of the 2022/23 Championship season.
A stunning first half-half strike from Harry Darling ensured the Swans left south Yorkshire with a point, after Chiedozie Ogbene had given the Millers the lead after 16 minutes.
Martin felt his side should have taken all three points on offer and also dismissed speculation linking Swansea City with Ogbene.
Opposite number Paul Warne, speaking during his post match press conference, felt his side got their season off to a good start against a Swansea side whom he felt were “difficult opposition”.
Next up for the Swans is a first home game of the campaign, against Blackburn Rovers at the Swansea dot com stadium next Saturday.
