Russell Martin spoke about the Swans new loan signings and the return of Jamie Paterson ahead of his team’s visit to Stoke City on Wednesday night.
The Swans announced the signing of Wolves starlet Luke Cundle yesterday and Martin was quick to confirm that the 20 year old midfielder would be involved in the team that travels to Stoke.
It was welcome news for the Swans, who are clearly lacking in confidence, given the disappointing start to their Championship campaign.
Martin shared more good news with the gathered press, saying that Jamie Paterson will return to the squad for Wednesday’s game, whilst also revealing that West Ham winger Armstrong Oko-Flex could be in the squad as he nears the completion of a season-long loan move to south Wales.
The Swans don’t have the best of records when it comes to visiting the Potteries, but given the indifferent form of both sides and Joe Allen returning to his old stomping ground, could a positive result at the bet365 stadium give the Swans a much needed lift.
