Martin considers changing team for visit of Hull City

Russell Martin gave his pre-match press conference this morning, as Hull City visit south Wales this weekend for the televised Championship fixture.

With this being the last game before the International break, the Swans will look to bounce back from the heart-breaking defeat against Sheffield United on Tuesday, when 17th placed Hull City visit the Swansea.com stadium.

The Tigers come to Swansea, in search of a first away win of the season, having drawn 2 and lost 2 of their opening 4 away fixtures.

Although Martin will have the same players at his disposal as Tuesday evening, the Swansea boss hinted that he was considering making changes to the starting XI, saying:

“I think we are pretty good, we have some tired men mentally and physically after the disappointment of the other night, but the lads are desperate to play another game. Everyone fit and available, although there might be one or two changes to the team and squad.”

Martin also confirmed that Michael Obafemi, fresh from his call up to the Republic of Ireland call up, is in contention for selection having missed the games against Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield United.
