Match Highlights – Swansea City 2 Sunderland 1

Swansea City secured their fourth straight win with a 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Swansea.com stadium.

Two first half goals from Ollie Cooper and Harry Darling were enough to give the Swans all 3 points, despite Jack Clarke pulling a goal back for the Black Cats on 51 minutes.

With the relentless Championship schedule in mind Russell Martin made changes to the side that won at Watford in midweek, with Darling, Joel Latibeaudiere, Luke Cundle and Cooper replacing Matthew Sorinola, Kyle Naughton, Olivier Ntcham and Michael Obafemi.

But it didn’t seem to affect his side, with the win ensuring the Swans remained in 6th place in the Championship and having now only lost once in the last 7 games.

The Swans next game is a trip to Burnley on October 15, when they will come up against former Swans Connor Roberts and Jack Cork.
