Swansea City once again came from behind to claim a point in a 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic at the Swansea.com stadium.
The Swans found themselves 2 nil down after just 16 minutes, as poor defending from corners given the Latics the lead, as Will Keane and Tom Naylor punished the home side.
Fortunately, Ryan Manning’s classy finish just before half-time gave the Swans hope, before Joel Piroe’s 5th goal of the season from the penalty spot on 84 minutes earned Russell Martin’s men a share of the points.
It could easily have been all three, were it not for the Swans shooting themselves in the foot as Russell Martin explained in his post-match press conference.
The Swans now face a trip to in-form Birmingham City on Tuesday evening, looking to get back to winning ways.
