Swansea City rounded off their week long Scotland training camp with a 2-0 win over Scottish Premiership side Dundee United.
Goals from Jamie Paterson and Ryan Manning in each half were the difference at Tannadice, with the Swans dominating their Scottish hosts for long periods of the game.
It was the perfect end to the Swans week long training game and Russell Martin was pleased with the outcome of the game and the week in general ahead of his side’s return to Championship action.
We have done lots of work on certain things and there were a lot of good things in the game on Tuesday, but there was also a lot to work on.
We worked on some of those areas over the rest of the week, and the players have worked really hard when they’ve trained.
This break has gone even better than we hoped it would in terms of the togetherness of the group on and off the pitch.
Across the players and staff, everyone has bought into it. The feeling in the group is incredible.
But it’s been a really good day, and a really good week.
